Productes del Cinquè Quart, S.A. is an agrifood company born in 1996, located in one of the most important commercial complexes of the food sector in Catalonia and the main ones in Spain, dedicated to the preparation, preparation and marketing of edible meat by-products from slaughtered animals daily in the slaughterhouse of said complex, Mercabarna. With the arrival at the company in 2005 of Slaughterhouse of Sabadell, figures of slaughter of 180,000 bovines and 480,000 sheep per year were reached. We have 2,500 m2 of facilities, 500 m2 of cold rooms, a freezing chamber of 2,000 m3 and a freezing tunnel of 150 m3 that, together with the use of the most advanced technologies in the sector, with which we obtain a better use of the raw material - the products of casquería -, a group of highly qualified professionals, the compliance of the hygienic-sanitary norm established by the EU today, a traceability system that guarantees a strict detailed knowledge of the product from the moment the animal is born to the consumer final, sanitary controls based on the principles of the hazard analysis system and critical control points and compliance with environmental requirements, all this, together with its privileged geographic location, only 10 km from the center of Barcelona, ​​and its connection with the main communication routes (national and European motorway network, TIR terminal, port of communication eaters, international airport ...), make both the quality of our final product and its subsequent distribution guarantee the complete satisfaction of our customers.


Historia
The company was founded in 1996 in Catalonia, in one of Spain's leading food retail complexes. Initially focused on meat by-products from Mercabarna, it incorporated the Sabadell slaughterhouse in 2005, significantly increasing its slaughtering capacity. It has developed its facilities and technology to guarantee the quality and traceability of its products, adapting to market demands and health and environmental regulations.


Tipo de productos
It offers a wide range of beef and sheep meat by-products, including tripe, liver, heart, tongue, brain, kidney, feet, head, gizzards, lung, spleen, stomach, and testicles, among others. The products are presented in various formats: fresh, frozen, in bulk, and packaged in a protected atmosphere.


Misión
Guarantee the quality and safety of the meat by-products it markets, ensuring traceability from source to end consumer, and adapting to market needs and legal and health requirements.
