The history of Empordàlia begins in 1947 with the founding of the Vilajuïga cooperative. Later, in 1961, the Pau and Roses cooperatives were established. In 2005, these cooperatives decided to unite under the name Empordàlia, consolidating the collaborative work of several generations of producers with the goal of offering products that reflect the character of the Empordà region.

Empordàlia offers a wide range of products, including wines with the Empordà Designation of Origin (white, rosé, red, sparkling, and sweet), extra virgin olive oil (Oli de Pau), honey, mineral water, local products such as nuts, legumes, sauces, sweets, vermouth, olive oil cosmetics, and gift and product bundles. Among the most representative wines are Sinols, Antima, Balmeta, Coromina, and Empordàlia Brut.

Empordàlia's fundamental purpose is to bring together the experience and quality of small Empordà producers to create products that reflect the character and authenticity of the region, maintaining respect for the land and the values passed down through generations, with the aim of ensuring sustainability and continuity for the future.
