The Cooperativa de Falset-Marçà (DO Montsant) is the result of the merger between the cooperatives of Marçà and Falset. Manufacturers of 750,000 bottles of wine per year and exporters in more than thirty countries. Ours is much more than a century-old cooperative, founded in 1912 and with 720 members. Members who are farmers and, at the same time, are the owners of the cooperative or, if they...prefer, are its "shareholders."
Now that everyone is praising local products, we never tire of repeating that we have been producers of kilometer 0 for more than a hundred years.
Our wine or our oil comes exclusively from the grapes and olives that our partners grow on their lands. We want respect for the environment to characterize our way of doing things because, after all, the land is the way of life we have chosen.
Corporate social responsibility (which is talked about so much now) has been part of our DNA since we started walking a century ago.
