Marçà - Tarragona

Afinus, Cervus, Ètim, Falset Tradició, L'Esparver By Eric Lahon, Lou Mas Lahon, Martius, Vermut Falset

Actividad
The Cooperativa de Falset-Marçà (DO Montsant) is the result of the merger between the cooperatives of Marçà and Falset. Manufacturers of 750,000 bottles of wine per year and exporters in more than thirty countries. Ours is much more than a century-old cooperative, founded in 1912 and with 720 members. Members who are farmers and, at the same time, are the owners of the cooperative or, if they prefer, are its "shareholders." Now that everyone is praising local products, we never tire of repeating that we have been producers of kilometer 0 for more than a hundred years. Our wine or our oil comes exclusively from the grapes and olives that our partners grow on their lands. We want respect for the environment to characterize our way of doing things because, after all, the land is the way of life we have chosen. Corporate social responsibility (which is talked about so much now) has been part of our DNA since we started walking a century ago. Elaboration of wines, vermouths and extra virgin Arbequina olive oil.

Historia
The Falset Marçà Cooperative was born in 1999 from the merger of the Falset (founded in 1917) and Marçà (founded in 1912) cooperatives, two nearby towns in the Priorat region. With over a century of history, the cooperative has successfully combined tradition and innovation, maintaining its commitment to quality and the region. It currently has more than 720 members, farmers who are also owners of the organization, and exports its products to more than 40 countries.

Tipo de productos
The cooperative offers a wide range of products: wines (mainly under the Montsant DO, especially the Garnacha and Cariñena varieties), extra virgin olive oils certified by the Siurana DOP, vermouths made with a century-old recipe, nuts (especially hazelnuts), local products (such as jams, honey, olive pastes, and pastissets), and gift baskets. It also offers wine tourism activities such as guided tours, tastings, and gastronomic experiences.

Misión
The cooperative's fundamental purpose is to do things well, caring for the land and the environment, and producing quality products that reflect the essence of the territory. Its long-term goal is to maintain balance with the natural, social, and cultural environment and continue to be a benchmark in the production of quality wines and oils, committed to sustainability and the local community.
