ROGER GOULART

The story of Roger Goulart is intimately linked to the history of the Golart and Canals families, rooted in Sant Esteve Sesrovires. Initially linked to peasant life, they elaborated wine for their own consumption.

Roger Goulart was founded in 1882 in Sant Esteve Sesrovires, in the Alto Penedès region, in an 18th-century farmhouse. Inspired by the Champagne cellars, the Canals family launched the project with the goal of producing high-quality sparkling wines. The modernist building, constructed in the early 20th century, features underground galleries over a kilometer long and 30 meters deep, providing ideal conditions for wine aging. After 140 years of experience, the winery continues to produce its cavas in these facilities, maintaining its focus on high-end products and long aging.

The company offers a range of cavas made primarily from Macabeo, Xarel·lo, and Parellada grapes for the whites, and Garnacha for the rosés. Highlights include Roger Goulart Gran Reserva Josep Valls, Roger Goulart Brut Reserva, Roger Goulart Organic Reserva, Roger Goulart Brut Nature Reserva, Roger Goulart Brut Rosé, Roger Goulart Brut Coral Rosé, and Roger Goulart Semi Seco Reserva.
