OLIS BELLAGUARDA

More than 90 years cultivating the same fruit, the arbequina, and extracting the same product, its juice, endorse the know-how of Olis Bellaguarda and the quality of its monovarietal oil, very appreciated for its great aromatic intensity. Originally born as Camp de Bellaguarda, Olis Bellaguarda is a society of 60 producers heir to the olive tradition of three generations of farmers deeply rooted in the land, who have known how to make the most of their olives, grown in a privileged location. In fact, the geographical situation of the municipality of Bellaguarda, with its arid lands characteristic of a certain altitude, provides the ideal conditions for the cultivation of Arbequina, giving the oil its own personality and an intense fruity aroma. The small production of the company, 250,000 kg of oil per year, facilitates the implementation of meticulous care throughout the process and allows to focus on quality. This is endorsed by the remarkable number of awards obtained since, from 2004, Olis Bellaguarda decided to measure the quality of its oils in national and international tasting competitions. Since its inception, Olis Bellaguarda practices a cultivation system that respects human health and the environment, which since 2001 is certified with the seal of Integrated Production.

The cooperative, originally called Camp de Bellaguarda, was founded in 1921 and is made up of 60 producers. It represents the olive-growing tradition of three generations of farmers in the Les Garrigues region. Throughout its history, it has maintained a focus on quality and environmentally friendly production, obtaining certifications such as Integrated Production since 2001 and participating in the promotion of the Mediterranean Diet since 2021. Since 2004, its oils have been recognized in national and international competitions.

The company primarily offers Arbequina extra virgin olive oils, both filtered and first-pressed (unfiltered), under brands such as Les Trilles and 1921 Bellaguarda. It also sells black truffle olive oil condiments, olivadas (green and ripe olive pâtés), olives, nuts, wines, cavas, and liqueurs. Its most notable products include Les Trilles extra virgin olive oil and 1921 Bellaguarda premium olive oil.

The company's mission is to produce high-quality extra virgin olive oil, prioritizing quality over yield and using cultivation and processing methods that respect human health and the environment.
