Avui, Caterra (commercial name of the cooperative) compta amb approximately 565 ha of conreu, dels quals, 325 ha són oliveres i els restants 240 ha són vinyes registrades amb the Denominació d'Origen Terra Alta. Els restants cultius are dedicated to l'ametller i a l'oliva, two consolidars commercial piles of Caterra.
Historia
The cooperative was founded in 1963 by a group of farmers who joined together to challenge the monopoly in the wine and oil trade in the area. Since then, it has evolved from a small local entity to a leading player in the region, modernizing its facilities and expanding its production capacity, while maintaining its commitment to cooperation, quality, and deep roots in the region.

The company primarily produces wines (white, red, young and aged wines, vermouth, mistela, and rancio wines) and extra virgin olive oil, highlighting wine varieties such as Garnacha Blanca and Macabeo, and oils made from Empeltre and Arbequina olives. It also sells dried fruit and natural vinegar.
